Kappa Alpha Theta at Texas Tech University takes pride in its outstanding academic achievements. Last spring we were ranked #1 for grades among the Greek sororities at Texas Tech! We consistently look for ways to recognize and reward the scholastic achievements of our members.

Tutoring programs are provided to our new members to ensure a solid foundation for the frequently difficult transition from high school to college. A tutor reimbursement program is available to all new members, as well as, active members. We also maintain a database of professor and course recommendations to assist our members in their curriculum selection.

Members are eligible for prizes if their name is selected by a drawing from our "A" box at each chapter meeting. Our members names are put into the "A" box when they receive "A's" on papers and tests. We honor our members' achievements at our Annual Scholarship Banquet, where scholarship and prizes are awarded to members with a 3.5 GPA and above.
